T-Bowl Concept Restaurant

T-Bowl Concept Restaurant is a toilet based concept restaurant. If I am not mistaken, their first outlet was in Penang. I heard of this concept restaurant for quite some time from my friend, Facebook, media report by television and even some magazine or newspaper got report about this restaurant and of course I also have passed by this restaurant at Sunway Pyramid a few times. Finally, fortunately, by doing the business communication assignment, I got the opportunity to step in this concept restaurant at Sunway Pyramid with 5 of my course mates, Yong Ler, Yi Li, Ying Tze, Karthi, and Samantha.

It is kind of unique place where you are having your meals using toilet tools such as mini bath tub and mini toilet bowl as food bowls, sitting on toilet bowl. The restaurant designed is using bathroom concept. The whole restaurant’s furniture is toilet equipment. 

 The chair for customer to sit on is a decorated toilet bowl.

The tables are bath tubs for long table and basin with a glass on top of them and they even put bathroom accessories like brushes inside the basin as decoration of the table.

 

When I first step in the environment do really makes me feels that I’m dining in a toilet. When we first stepped into restaurant the waitress in T-bowls said “Welcome” to us and brought to a table seat of 6 people near the window. Then another waitress came along with the menu books and a piece of paper and a pencil for us to order the food.

The menu book that is full of some colorful, funny and cute picture and of course with some delicious food photo.

In the menu they provide us with package called “Value Lunch Set”. It is said “value” because in the set it contains 1 main course (either a noodle or rice) plus a free drink and a dessert (pudding or fruits) which the whole set is only cost RM 11.90. There are about 5 different set of lunch with 5 different days from Monday to Friday and they will only do this package from 11a.m. until 3p.m.So, as we when there on Thursday in the afternoon 12 p.m., I decided to take the set lunch package. I have choose a rice named “Double Cooked Pork Kamamesgi” , a cold Jasmine green tea as free drink and a pudding as the dessert. Beside that I also have add on a ice cream named “Healthy Dreamy Yam Mix Fruity” that cost RM 9.90.

 The main course “Double Cooked Pork Kamamesgi”  which is served in a mini toilet bowl. In this dish it contain the full and complete nutrients that one person should have when eating their meal. It has the spicy pork meat, just a little bit spicy, some carrots, corns and vegetables and of course with the rice at the bottom. Instead of the spicy and salty taste of the meat when you eat the rice with the corns and vegetable , it tasted like some sweet too. Overall the taste is quite nice and although the dish in the photo looks a bit small,when you eat it, it will be very full and sometime too much of it too and the whole set only cost RM 11.90.

This the ice-cream that I have ordered the “Healthy Dreamy Yam Mix Fruity” that cost RM 9.90. As from the photo it contain a few layer of colorful fruit and ice-cream. At the top is a scoop of vanilla flavor ice-cream, the second layer is the yam flavor ice-cream with some fruits such as strawberry and mango, the third layer is the vanilla cream with some nuts  and the last layer is the yam ice-cream again with some jelly at the bottom part. It is quite sweet and taste a bit sour as with the strawberry and mango in the second layer and I like the jelly and nuts at the bottom part of it.

In the conclusion, T-bowl concept restaurant is quite special with all those decoration and design of the restaurant. It is not just popular and famous or attract for the adolescence or students like us but the restaurant also attract most of the families and office workers nearby to eat at there as what we see when we stepped into the restaurant, there are some people that dressed up with formal, I think they are some office worker nearby Sunway, were eating at there.Unfortunately, I did not capture the picture of them.Their services there is quite good and systematic when ordering food too as they will paste a small paper to indicate what we are ordering. After food come, they will mark down the food that already serve.

The receipt of what we had ate. Plus all the service & government tax it costs RM 103.35 and we got a discount of 10% as 1 of our course mates, Ying Tze got the member card which called as " Privilege Card" as shown above. 
Thus ,overall ,the T-bowl concept restaurant is just nice. Nice,peaceful & clean environment. Food is delicious with standard price. And I have a happy and enjoyable meal with my course mates at T-bowl as when we are having the meal,we are chit chating with one another and also taking pictures and of course those photo is private and confidential so I can't post it at here.We also got also a chance to win a movie ticket as when we paid the bill the waitress give us a paper to fill up info which is needed to win the ticket. Unfortunately, we forget to take the picture of that. But I hope that we can win the ticket and go for a movie together and eat at T-bowl again after the movie. ( This is only what I hope)
